Local Girl Katie Cowling playing for TEMS

A former student at Marldon C of E Primary School and KEVICC in Totnes is appearing In the next TEMS concert on 21st October. Katie Cowling is one of four students or alumni of the Royal College of Music in Convivio, and achieved a Masters in Performance with distinction as well as being awarded the HRH Elizabeth the Queen Mother Rose Bowl at her final graduation ceremony this summer. Katie has paid tribute to Angela Chapman who taught her recorder in Marldon, her Head of Music at KEVICC Richard Burdett and piano teacher (and TEMS member) Penny Humphrys. Katie later studied with Ashley Solomon at the RCM, another past TEMS performer and favourite. We look forward to welcoming Convivio to St Mary’s on Saturday 21st October for an evening of wonderful Baroque music, beautifully performed.
